Sogut

Söğüt is a remote village on the Bozburun Peninsula, overlooking the Sömbeki Bay. It is 45 kilometres away from Marmaris and may be reached by two different routes; either via İçmeler and Bayır, or Hisarönü and Selimiye. Approaching Söğüt via Bayır, the road passes through forests, whereas the Selimiye route runs alongside the coastline. Using one road on the way to Söğüt and the other on the way back will enable you to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Söğüt boasts almond, carob and olive trees in abundance, and since fishing is a source of livelihood, fish is always available. Family run restaurants provide a variety tasty salads and seafood dishes.
Söğüt can be reached by minibuses that run from Marmaris, check times here.
