Turgut

Turgut is a village with conservation status, situated at the 35th kilometre of the road leading from Marmaris and passing through Hisarönü and Orhaniye, which is why it has been remained unspoiled. There is a waterfall in the village, and Turgut boasts a magnificent coastline and beaches, superb views, and the freshest air.
The waterfall is a heavenly garden where water and forest intertwine, and is much sought after especially during the hot summer months. A walk to the water’s source and back is recommended for those who like trekking. The waterfall drops from a height of about 6 to 7 metres, and it is possible to swim in the small pond that forms below.
Bazlama (a type of flatbread) cooked on an open fire in front of the ruins of an ancient windmill and a glass of ayran (yogurt drink) make a delicious feast for the hungry. There is also a modest restaurant. The waterfall is a popular stopover point for those on a jeep safari as well.
