Hisarönü is located at the 18th kilometre of the Marmaris-Datça road, on the left-hand side of the main road. Its panorama overlooks the two small coves of Hisarönü Bay.
Hisarönü’s landscape and weather are both beautiful, and it has a cool breeze much sought after in the summer. The sea here is not so calm, and so is an attractive option for those on the lookout for waves. Winds often blow from the sea toward the land, making the area very suitable for windsurfing. In terms of accommodation, the village has hotels, motels, and bed-and-breakfasts on the shore.
