Mesudiye

A small, exquisitely beautiful village in Datça, Mesudiye is reached by turning left at the sign on the road from Datça to Knidos. The settlement plays a very significant role in tourism in the region; it is even said that Mesudiye was one of the major factors why tourism began to develop in Datça. A popular stopover for seafarers, the village and its residents are well-prepared to receive guests, and hospitality is the norm. Almost all the facilities in the village are family businesses, including bed-and-breakfasts and wooden homes used for accommodation.
The land at Mesudiye is extremely fertile, and organic farming has become widespread. Many locals grow olives, almonds and other crops, which they serve to their guests.
