A beachfront venue, Club Rena is a combined restaurant and beach café, with log cabins for accommodation.
The wooden structures are in fact a clue that the owner is a carpenter; he himself built the five cabins sitting in the shade of a garden of tall eucalyptus trees.
20 kilometres from Marmaris, it has its own car park but is off the main road so a free shuttle service is provided. This is a B&B that is open all year round, and all the cabins are air-conditioned. You can have breakfast by the pool or in your room, at any time you wish. There are plenty of steps, albeit only in ones and twos, but enough to make it difficult for wheelchair access. A family run business, the service is personal and friendly. It’s all very flexible, non-residents can sit and drink coffee or beer while playing backgammon or choose a meal from whatever is on offer—or even tell them how you would like something cooked … if you were lucky with your fishing rod.
Cash payments only, but they exchange foreign currencies. You may struggle with the mixture of English and Turkish but look on it as part of the fun!
