Founded in 1997 by photographer, writer, and artist M. Kamil Durust, MARFOD is open to everyone with a love of photography. If you’re a shutterbug, and you’d like to get to know people in Marmaris who share your passion, talk shop and exchange knowhow, make sure you get in touch with MARFOD. They have members who speak English and German, and meet regularly every Tuesday at 8.30 PM at Siir Art House & Cafe (www.siirdurustsanatevi.com); participation is free-of-charge but make sure email them first (siirdurust@gmail.com) and let them know you’re coming!
