Topping the range are the various Mugla Dolls (Mugla is the provincial capital) all with their own identity cards and all unique.
The owner, Siir Durust, not only sells handicrafts locally produced in the area that make the perfect gifts, she is also an artist in her own right and works to promote artistic endeavour in the region. She runs various workshops for those wishing to learn some of the crafts, stained glass for example, and, showing her range of talents, she will happily take commissions for a mural or decorative picture in your home or business place!
Not really up to more shopping just yet? Why not just sit outside then, she also runs a little three-table café where you can rest your weary feet! The shop and café are open from 10 AM till midnight every day during the summer season. In winter she opens just two days a week, it’s best to enquire by phone first. This is also where MARFOD, the Marmaris Friends of Photography Association meets every Tuesday at 8:30 PM.
