Ortam Restaurant
Hayitbuku Bay sits beneath Mesudiye, on the road to Knidos from Datca, and Ortam Restaurant sits right on this beautiful little bay.
We mean that literally, for if the street is too wide for you, they will serve your meal on the beach! Those who want to get up and away can enjoy the upstairs terrace. They are open from mid March to the end of September.
The menu features fresh fish, of course, but the owners take pride in their ‘sac kavurma’—a diced lamb and vegetable dish—‘kalamar dolma’ or stuffed squid, and authentic Turkish ‘mezes’ or starters. Managers and some staff members all speak English in addition to Turkish, so you will have no problems ordering from the multi-lingual menu. Wheelchair access is easy in the ground floor area and there are highchairs for the real youngsters.
