Ordinal Numbers
In Turkish the suffixes of -st, -nd, -rd and -th are found in the same root suffix “-inci” but expressed with different vowels depending on the final vowel preceding the suffix (this is called vowel harmony in Turkish grammar). This suffix is symbolised by a full period following the number.
