The Marmaris Pass team and solution partners are all experts in their own fields; people who have known each other for a long time, are friends, and love Marmaris. We all live in Marmaris, and joined forces in August 2008 to make our dream of developing a website we believe Marmaris needs, a reality. Since then, we’ve been directing our collaborative efforts to this end.

You are either in Marmaris or are thinking of visiting Marmaris for rest and recreation on your holiday. Our aim is to help you get to know Marmaris well and assist you in planning your holiday, so that you save both time and money instead of needlessly spending either. To meet this aim, we plan to feed our website with relevant information day by day, and develop it into a useful, up-to-date, dynamic, entertaining, and sought after web address.

Aslı Yürekli

Born in Adana in 1971, Aslı Yürekli worked at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for two years after graduating from the Ankara Ayrancı Trade High School. In the following three years, she fulfilled the roles of CMAS 2-star Scuba Instructor, PADI Assistant Instructor, and a Certified Scuba Guide in Fethiye. After managing the European Diving Center in İçmeler (Marmaris), she expanded her experiences in the field of tourism by working as a Holiday Guide and Customer Representative at TUI Thomson. She has been the founding partner, CEO and project development officer at Yürekli Consultancy since 2006.

Şafak Irklı

After earning a degree in Business Administration at Bogazici University, Şafak Irklı managed the Customer Relations and Business Development departments at various international advertising agencies, and acted as Board Member and Vice President at the firm Cen Ajans. She then worked as the Vice President of the Advertising and Public Relations Department of Oyak Bank, and was the project leader responsible for determining and implementing the strategy to publicize ING Bank during its transformation.

Serap Şeftalioğlu

Born in 1976 in Istanbul, Serap Şeftalioğlu earned an associate degree in Business Administration at Kocaeli University. She entered the workforce in 1995 at Koç Holding, and worked in various positions at the Koç Group for 10 years. Her work experience spans over 12 years, and includes knowledge of finance, information technology, conference tourism, sales and marketing, and R&D. She joined Yürekli Consultancy in 2007.

Candan Yürekli

A cartographer and founding partner of the 17-year firm Ölçem Map Engineering, Candan Yürekli has been an avid proponent of the GEO CAD cartography software since its inception and is also the founding partner and CEO of Yürekli Consultancy. His work experience in business spans 24 years. He is well-known in Marmaris business circles for his honesty and sincerity.

Gülşah Seral Aksakal

Born in Istanbul in 1971, Gülşah Seral Aksakal graduated from high school in the US with high honors, then earned degrees in Psychology (undergraduate) and Early Childhood Education and Development (graduate) at Bogazici University. She was the national coordinator of the Women’s Human Rights Education Program at the non-profit Women for Women’s Human Rights-New Ways; a non-governmental organization in Istanbul. After moving to Marmaris in 2001, she established and ran Dragos Café-Bar in Marmaris, and sold the business in 2005. A staff translator for National Geographic magazine for the past nine years, she is also a trainer for various associations and foundations.

Graham Hugh Bollan

Born in London in 1950, Graham  graduated from the Salesian College in London and subsequently gained a National Certificate in Electrical Engineering. The majority of his managerial working life was spent in network management with British Telecom, and brief spells working abroad with AT&T / Philips. As the industry underwent massive technological changes with ensuing workforce reductions, Graham majored in Change Management and business restructuring. On retiring from BT in 1999, he worked as a private contractor in the UK before moving to Turkey. He has worked on contracts in the fields of telecoms, education and quality systems in the UK, Greece and Turkey. However, it has to be said, he’d sooner be out sailing!

Graphic Design – Eco Tasarım

Çağdaş Üstünkaya

Born in 1971 in Istanbul, Çağdaş Üstünkaya graduated from the Graphic Design School of Mimar Sinan University. He worked at numerous national and international advertising agencies. He designed Max Türkiye magazine, which was chosen by the Turkish Society of Graphic Design for display in the periodical layout section at the annual exhibition of the Society. In 2003, his work was awarded 10th place in the international logo competition held by the International Union of Architects on the theme Grand bazaar of architectureS. He is currently the Art Director at Eco Tasarim, which he co-founded in 2002.

Esra Üstünkaya

Esra Üstünkaya was born in 1972 in Istanbul, and graduated with from high school in the US with honors. She worked for a year at the Controlling Department of Siemens AG after earning a Business Administration degree at Bogazici University. Later, she worked at the Customer Relations departments of various national and international advertising agencies in Istanbul, and acted as the Event, Media, and Public Relations Manager at Dulcinea. She co-founded Eco Tasarım in Marmaris in 2002; she is currently the Customer Relations Director of the firm.

Software Solutions – Bilgimax

Orhan Sağlam

Born in Friedburg, Germany in 1974, Orhan Sağlam wrote sector-related desktop software and basic bookkeeping programs, followed by the automation software and various modules for the firm Kolmusan (Karaman), after earning certificate degrees in computer programming and the C programming language. He founded Bilgimax.com in 2002, then developed Desktop Restaurant POS software and dynamic web software applications while acting as project manager; he also generated software for online reservation and agencies, the Dynamic Content Management system and software library, as well as the desktop software and embedded system software to establish a system of sale for the pay-per-view TV channels of hotels. Working on software development methodologies, he created a team to develop Enterprise web applications. He currently continues to develop web software with his team.

Nevzat Selçuk

Nevzat Selçuk was born in 1971 in Marmaris, and graduated from Izmir Ataturk High School. After earning a certificate degree in the Basic Programming Language from the Engineering Department at Ege University, he graduated with honors from the Construction Technician Department at Muğla Technical College. Returning to Marmaris, he worked on graphic design, focused on web programming and learned the PHP and MYSQL languages. During this time he prepared his first promotional CD done in flash for Blue Line Tour; he also managed the first franchise technology store in Marmaris and prepared the website for Hitturkey Tourism Agency. Currently, he continues to develop advanced web applications as the firm Ron Software.
